Festivals Kitimat puts on Northwest B.C.'s greatest celebration of July 1 and the surrounding season, and you are officially welcomed for the ride!

Not sure what to expect? Here's a taste of what Festivals Kitimat supports:
- Kitimat Memorial Hill Climb, a drag-race style event on the Haisla Boulevard hill.
- Kitimat Show n' Shine event at the Tamitik Arena.
- Canada Day parade hosted by the Kinsmen Club of Kitimat.
- A day-long celebration at Riverlodge Recreation Centre.

- Birthday cake! (Happy birthday, Canada!)
- Helicopter rides ($)
- A community concert to cap the night in style, followed by fireworks.

Happening at the Luso Canadian Association, 159 Konigus Street.
Dinner and entertainment from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tickets:
$25 for adults
$15 for child
$15 for seniors
Five and under are free!
